  El artista alemán comenzó su boom en las listas alemanas en 2019. Tras la continuación en 2020 con su primer álbum de estudio, Treppenhaus , tuvo un 2021 y 2022 algo más discretos. Sin embargo, hoy se sitúa en la cima de la lista de singles con la canción que ha batido el récord de semanas en el primer puesto: Komet , con Udo Lindenberg. Para empezar con este repaso del éxito comercial de Apache 207, debemos situarnos en 2019 , cuando tuvo sus primeras entradas en lista. La primera fue Kein Problem , que alcanzó el puesto número 17 en la lista alemana. A este le sucedieron tres sencillos más que rondaron el top 50. A finales de agosto de ese año, se lanzó Roller , que marcó su primer número 1 y que hoy supera los 100 millones de visitas de Youtube. El hit ha estado hasta hace poco en el top 50 de Spotify Alemania, pese a haberse publicado hace más de tres años. El lunes se reveló el top 10 semanal del Billboard Hot 100 y, pese a esperar una novena semana de Miley Cyrus a la cima, el número 1 fue ocupado por Jimin , de BTS . Aunque chart data ya lo había insinuado horas antes, no se esperaba que lo lograra porque la canción no está en las listas de streaming . Los resultados del conteo del hot 100 reflejan que, como suele ocurrir con el k-pop y con bts, las ventas digitales están disparadas , a niveles que superan los 200k , frente al resto de canciones.  Y esto vuelve a dibujar la duda sobre los fans del k-pop, que con esta actuación sólo deslegitiman el mérito de que sea el primer artista en solitario coreano en conseguir el número uno. Las cifras hablan por sí solas y son irreales. Como ocurrió con Life Goes On de BTS ( número 1 en la primera semana y desaparición en la segunda) , es probable que la caída en la segunda semana sea bastante fuerte. El que fuera single de su primer álbum de estudio (‘All I Want Is You’) está experimentando un gran éxito viral y ha provocado que vuelva a entrar en el Billboard Hot 100.  Casi trece años después de su lanzamiento, ‘Sure thing’ de Miguel inunda Tiktok. Extraído de su primer proyecto, el sencillo se conforma a partir de la metáfora de que Miguel complementará y acompañará siempre a su amada ( If you be the cash, I’ll be the rubber band’ ). La sucesión de metáforas abarca desde lo más directo al más poético estribillo. La versión que inunda Tiktok es la sped up , como se está poniendo de moda en la plataforma y que se conecta con el creciente gusto por el nightcore .  El famoso y legendario cantautor estrenó la semana pasada su nuevo proyecto ( Canzoni di Intorto )después de 10 años sin publicar álbum. Como dijo Guccini hace unos años para Fanpage Italia , ahora se dedica a la escritura, centrándose en la palabra y no a la composición de canciones. Es por eso que este disco contiene once covers con un toque folk, pensadas a lo largo del año y pensando, también, y como no podía ser de otra forma, desde un punto de vista social , enfocando una de las canciones hacia la guerra de Ucrania.  Lo más llamativo del álbum es que no está disponible en ninguna plataforma digital, ni YouTube ni Spotify. Both Maneskin and Tananai have returned with new singles this October and we couldn't finish the month without talking about them: Tananai released an unexpected ballad a few weeks ago, 'ABISSALE' as a single. It is surprising because, as I said in my previous post about the Italian artist , he usually includes some humor in his songs and in his videos, but in Abissale there is not a trace. The single comes after releasing 'Pasta' and reigning on the Italian chart throughout the summer with Fedez and Mara Sattei on 'Dolce Vita'. Abissale is an honest, heartfelt piece reminiscent of 2000s Italian balladry and Italian cantautori genre, tapping into Tananai's gruff voice. In it, he talks about how special the girl he is in love with is and how he has tried to be special to be by her side, but he has not succeeded. Tanto Maneskin como Tananai han vuelto con nuevos singles este mes de octubre y no podíamos acabar el mes sin hablar de ellos: Tananai lanzó hace unas semanas una inesperada balada , ‘ABISSALE’, como single. Sorprende porque , como dije en mi anterior post sobre el artista italiano , este acostumbra a incluir algo de humor en sus canciones y en sus vídeos, pero en Abissale no hay ni rastro. Some weeks ago, Spanish-German singer shared his new single, Solo Para Ti , featuring the German EDM-producer and Dj, Topic. The collaboration comes after the producer success in 2020 , who scored top 10 hits in almost every European country, like the UK, Germany or Belgium with Breaking me and the follow-up Your Love .  Solo para ti is a simple dance song with some acoustic guitar arranges that remind us that Álvaro Soler is on the track.  The lyrics are really generic and similar to other EDM songs (pretending to be personal but not that much)  and that's maybe the magic of it, the key that could make it work in the charts of many European countries. The purpose of music charts is to know the population's music preferences. The counting on these charts must be very transparent to know what are the most successful tracks in a country. The songs on the top of the charts are considered hits and will define the year in music in a certain country. The charts have also a less positive side :the consequences for an artist to be on top of the charts. Every artist wants to be successful and spread their own music, but, besides that, the effects of having a song on the top 10 are really big. Contrats for advertising brands succeed in a little period of time if your music is successful. You, as an artist, become the center of attention. At the same time, the pressure increases: If you haven't released an album yet, you will have to do it before people lose interest on you. On Wednesday, the Spanish single chart was updated and Olivia Rodrigo's Drivers License peaked at a new position: number 4, entering to the top five. Last week, it entered at number 10. This new peak is surprising; Long-awaited or viral songs which debut in their first week on the top 10, tend to drop out of it the next week.  It is also unexpected because its biggest streaming peak on Spotify was on January 12th (17 million streams),However, the song is rising now in Spain , where the Top 100 is mostly filled by reggaeton or trap tracks (like the rest of the top 10) , that truly reach some stability on the chart. International pop acts do not usually reach these high positions , like Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi (which is still charting but peaked on number 45), Positions (that peaked on number 23) or Harry Styles' Watermelon Sugar (peak position at number 43).  This is also happening to Spanish-pop artists (with the exceptions of Camilo and C Tangana), like Aitana,

 This week's  top 10 has got two new entries , which are Uzi's À la fête, on number10 ( with more than 10 million views on Youtube since June) and Wejdene's COCO ( number 3 this week after entering last week in number 27), her second top 10 after the success of Anissa.  On number nine Bosh's Djomb goes down one place. It was a summer hit and it seems that it is going to leave the top 10 by the end of the summer. Franglish and Tory Lanez collaboration , My Salsa, is down one place after peaking in number six . In that position is, this week, Hatik's Angela. It reached number one in July despite its release in December. The track gained popularity after Hatik's role on Validé. THE TOP FIVE: After ruling the charts , NInho and Dadju's Grand Bain descends one place in the charts as well as Aya Nakamura's Jolie Nana goes down one place after being number one for a few weeks.  Last Friday , German music charts were updated . There are three new entries in this week's top 10 and a new number one.  I have been observing German top 10 single chart for over a year now and it is usually full of local trap or hip-hop , in its majority (but american rappers also seem  to have success there, such as Gunna ,Travis Scott or DaBaby and Roddy Rich , with their song Rockstar . It is not only hip-hop , Ava Max's Sweet but Psycho was number one (I think) for a few weeks ) and these genres (or  artists) are very prolific, they usually release singles with little time between one and the next one (Last year Capital Bra and Samra released a few collaborative singles and all entered, in their first week, on the top 10) . This also leads to falls of a few places in the charts the following week to its release.  Germany is also a good precursor of the songs that are going to become huge worldwide or , at least, in Europe . As every Friday,  a new Top 40 is announced  and there are climbs, slopes and  2 new entries.  First, let's talk about Perfect' 's ,by Ed Sheeran, return to the charts. It returned last week to the top 40 nearly three years after its  video release! That is huge, really huge and it could possibly increase the whole album (Divide) listenings. The two new entries are Midnight (The hanging tree) by Hosh &1979 ft JALJA, which has been circling over the charts for weeks and finally enters in nº34 and  Burning by M Huncho ft. Dutchavelli on number 13. The biggest fall is  Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine's TROLLZ which drops 19 places. This contrasts with TROLLZ reaching number 1 on Billboard Hot 100 after asking fans to buy the song multiple times to increase its position on the charts. On the other hand, the biggest climb is for Jason Derulo and Jawash 685's Savage Love . It has been only for two weeks in the charts and it is probably aiming for number one the following wee
