 The MTV's Europe Music Awards are set to be celebrated on November 14th from Hungary. The nominations were revealed just a few days ago. Let's get into them! Best artist:  Doja Cat Ed Sheeran Justin Bieber Lady Gaga Lil Nas X The Weeknd Lady Gaga seems quite unfitting here. Her album Chromatica did not have such impact in Europe and if it's because of Rain On Me , it was nominated last year, so it makes no sense. Olivia Rodrigo would have made more sense here. Best video: Doja Cat ft. SZA – “Kiss Me More” Ed Sheeran – “Bad Habits” Justin Bieber – “Peaches” ft. Daniel Caesar, Giveon Lil Nas X – “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” Normani ft. Cardi B – “Wild Side” Taylor Swift – “willow" Throughout the whole list the nominations there are similarities with the nominees for the MTV's Vmas. An example is Normani's nomination. We all can agree that is a worked video, but it hasn't even entered in the UK's top 40.  Best collaboration: Black Eyed Peas, Shakira

 A few days ago the MTV Video Music Awards nominations were revealed. This year's ceremony will take place on September the 12th in New York. It feels like 2021 didn't have a lot of big music videos... Only having memorable moments with Olivia Rodrigo's Drivers License and Lil Nas X's ' Call Me By Your Name'.   Let's get into the nominations! BEST POP: On the one hand, Har ry Styles earns a nomination for TPWK . It seems like MTV is trying to balance out after last year he only received nominations in the technical categories. On the other hand, Justin Bieber, who leads the nominations with seven, is nominated here for Peaches.  It's surprising when the song is included on  Spotify's 'Are and Be' playlist ...Guess this is another attempt of Justin Bieber trying to do R&B and so could tell Ariana with positions , which is also nominated . On Wednesday, the Spanish single chart was updated and Olivia Rodrigo's Drivers License peaked at a new position: number 4, entering to the top five. Last week, it entered at number 10. This new peak is surprising; Long-awaited or viral songs which debut in their first week on the top 10, tend to drop out of it the next week.  It is also unexpected because its biggest streaming peak on Spotify was on January 12th (17 million streams),However, the song is rising now in Spain , where the Top 100 is mostly filled by reggaeton or trap tracks (like the rest of the top 10) , that truly reach some stability on the chart. International pop acts do not usually reach these high positions , like Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi (which is still charting but peaked on number 45), Positions (that peaked on number 23) or Harry Styles' Watermelon Sugar (peak position at number 43).  This is also happening to Spanish-pop artists (with the exceptions of Camilo and C Tangana), like Aitana,
