Este año los premios se celebrarán a mediados de septiembre en lugar de a finales de agosto, como era costumbre. Antes de ayer se revelaron las nominaciones a los premios  MTV Video Music Awards , que han llegado más tarde de lo habitual, ya que se ha pospuesto la fecha de la gala. El anuncio de los nominados se produce después de que la ceremonia haya ido perdiendo relevancia, audiencia e impacto en los últimos años.  Existen varios problemas en las nominaciones de los últimos años y es que , por una parte, uno no se aclara de si se nominan los vídeos o las canciones . Con los nombres de Best Pop o Best R&B es difícil distinguir, pero más aún las categorías de Mejor colaboración y de Artista del Año . Además, al leer los nominados, se tiene la sensación de nominar en muchas ocasiones nombres y no la calidad de los vídeos ni de unas propuestas audiovisuales arriesgadas. The Grammys ceremony was celebrated yesterday. Let's comment the winners list! The first awards given were for the technical ones and for the minor genres. The first important award was Music video of the year , given to Beyoncé, WizKid and Blue Ivy's Brown Skin Girl. When I say 'stereotypes' I am referring to the association of an artist to a specific genre or style :An artist is consider pop and remains pop til the end of his/her career. The industry and the public classify an artist and make you expect he or she is going to always drop the same type of music. In the early 2000s there was an explosion of new artists and some of them were what we later  used to consider pop queens like Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Despite Beyonce started in Destiny chid,(R&B) during her debut she mixed both R&B and pop ( 'Irrepleazable ' and 'Crazy In Love' ) . S he went totally pop with her 2008 album 'I'm Sasha fierce' . With songs like ' Halo ', ' If I Were A Boy' and ' Single Ladies' she became played in every pop radio station.
