 Como cada año por estas fechas, se han desvelado las nominaciones para los Grammy Latinos 2022, que tendrán lugar el 17 de noviembre. Bad Bunny lidera las nominaciones (10), al que siguen el productor Edgar Barrera (compositor también de canciones de Camilo, Christian Nodal y Camila Cabello, entre otros) y Rauw Alejandro. Seguidamente, se sitúan Rosalía-que,finalmente, ha recibido 9 nominaciones- y Christina Aguilera con siete nominaciones. Al observar a los artistas más nominados, ya vemos que va a predominar el sonido urbano, como lleva sucediendo en los últimos años, y vemos que , *inesperadamente* Christina Aguilera ha conseguido un buen puñado de nominaciones, pese al casi nulo éxito comercial comparado con su otro proyecto en español. Puede que la inclusión de Christina en las nominaciones no fuese tan sorprendente si tenemos en cuenta que el año pasado participó en la ceremonia y estrenó la versión en vivo de Pa' Mis Muchachas y que el álbum fue casualmente filtrado el p

Crónica Día 3 Cala Mijas: Última crónica desde el festival. A las nueve menos veinte comenzaba puntualmente el concierto de Nathy Peluso en el escenario Sunrise. El set mostraba tanto sus habilidades como rapera, como las piezas con un sonido latino más tradicional. Porque si algo hizo Peluso ayer fue traer todo el sabor latino a Cala Mijas. La artista argentina reinó con maestría, fiereza y sudor . El set fue un espectáculo completo: Dance breaks donde Nathy se dejaba la piel ,cambios de vestuario y un repaso por temas muy conocidos por los asistentes ( su sesión con Bizarrap, Corashe, Mafiosa o Delito), que bailaban al ritmo de la música. Nathy pasaba del jazzy r&b de ‘Buenos Aires’ a la salsa de ‘Mafiosa’ armónicamente. También hubo tiempo de cantar su número 1 junto a C.Tangana , Ateo, donde se demostró que no le hacía falta la compañía del madrileño en el escenario. Crónica Día 2 Cala Mijas El escenario Renault acogía a las 19 y 45 a Rusowsky . Con solo un micrófono y un ordenador Mac en el escenario, el joven artista madrileño empezaba su set bastante accidentado por los problemas técnicos, lo que se tradujo en un ‘ Joder c on los problemas técnicos, tío ‘ fuertemente autotuneado    que pronunciaba el artista pidiendo la ayuda de sus frecuentes colaboradores Mori y Drummie para solucionarlos. Frecuentemente catalogado como ‘bedroom pop’, el setlist se centraba en ritmos trap y EDM , que se acercaba mucho al bakala , y en un uso continuo del autotune, incluso cuando se dirigía al público. Estos momentos recordaban a escenas virales de los conciertos de Travis Scott en los que habla con autotune en sus shows. El autotune    es una pieza básica de la música de Rusowsky y nota emblemática del género urbano y del bedroom pop. Crónica Cala Mijas Día  1 La tarde comenzaba en el escenario Sunrise con The Lathums . La banda que este año ha sido telonera de The Killers , iniciaba la tarde con un setlist en el que repasaba los temas de su album (‘How beautiful life can be’) y otros muy queridos por sus fans , como ‘All My Life’, todo acompañado de la garganta incombustible del vocalista Alex Moore . Aunque en muchas piezas el sonido de los instrumentos parecía que barría la excelente actuación del cantante, el público cantaba y saltaba acompañando a la banda , que , después de una larga pndemia donde empezaban a hacerse un nombre en la escena musical británica, no habían podido tocar fuera de su país natal. A las ocho y cuarto comenzaron muy puntuales Blossoms , que iniciaron el concierto con la enérgica ‘I cant Stand It’, como lleva haciendo el grupo de Stockport en sus últimos conciertos.   Earlier this month, DJ Khaled shared his latest single, STAYING ALIVE , which interpolates Bee Gees classic with the same name .  An interpolation is a recreation of a song in a different record: The artist reproduces the melody of the interpolated piece. This must not be confused with the sample , that consists on putting in a new song a snippet of a different record. The point is that, in the sample, you reuse part of another song in a new track, while, in the interpolation, you reproduce or replicate the interpolated song. Both techniques are very usual on hip-hop and rap, where rappers need melodies to their tracks and they get them this way. One of the most famous is 2PAC's sample of the hit by Bruce Hornsby and the Range, The Way It is in the social Changes. Unchained Melody- Elvis : Elvis covered the classic song from The Righteous Brothers in his last concert in 1977, just weeks before his death. He sang it while playing the piano in his iconic white and shimmering golden suit. Elvis showed his vocal power during the performance and appeared to be a little bit exhausted after the whole show. You can even hear some suffocation on his breath.  Con la llegada del verano vuelve el Irama (ahora 'el chico italiano', como se grita en un ad-lib en su nuevo vídeo) más urbano o reggaetonero. Tras conseguir el cuarto puesto en el Festival de Sanremo este año y lanzar su álbum 'Il giorno in cui ho smesso di pensare ', Irama (con 5 gocce aún en el top cinco de la lista italiana) publica el vídeo para su nuevo single, PAM PAM PAM PAM PAM PAM PAM PAM (PAM x8) , su oda al twerk. El tema sigue a otros lanzamientos veraniegos de Irama, todas candidatos a canción del verano y con sonidos más urbanos o latinos ( Nera , Arrogante , Mediterranea o Melodia Proibita ). El nuevo single se queda muy al estilo de J Balvin (ya vimos que la colaboración con Willy William contenida en el álbum era muy similar a Mi Gente ), volviendo a mezclar el italiano con el español y expresiones latinas, y apostando por el Moombahton (mezcla de house o electrónica y reggaeton).  Christine and the Queens has unveiled her new single ' Je te vois enfin' two years after releasing the EP 'La vita nuova' and months after releasing the two-track-EP 'Joseph' with two covers ( Freedom by George Michael and Michael Fugain's Comme L'oiseau ) that she performed in the Global Citizen festival. The single is written and produced by herself and mixed by Mike Dean (known for working with The Weeknd or Travis Scott) and hints a new era. Christine is no longer Chris, but just ' Redcar' , as she's been using as username in her socials. The song talks about forgiveness, which could be connected with the archangel Saint Michael references she's been posting.  With the start of a new era, a new and completely different character or persona appears.  Cala Mijas is a new festival which will take place the three first days of September in Mijas (Málaga, Spain). This week the festival made public the complete line up, transforming this novice festival in one of the most exciting of the year. The festival made its own name with the first artirsts confirmed: Liam Gallagher or Artic Monkeys , among others. The Festival is one of the few stops that the Sheffield band is doing this year in Europe (alongside their performance in Cala Mijas' twin-festival, Kalorama , in Lisbon). The confirmation of their performances, alongside with Blossoms and The Lathums ' defined a line up that was up to Reading & Leeds or the Knebworth concerts and joined together the rock British scene in just one festival. Apart from betting for the British rock scene and the big names ( Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds , The Chemical Brothers ), the Festival hasn't disregarded other genres, adding important names of the latin and Spanish urban genre ( N
