ITALIAN SINGLES CHART: TANANAI AND MANESKIN ARE BACK WITH BALLADS
Both Maneskin and Tananai have returned with new singles this October and we couldn't finish the month without talking about them: Tananai released an unexpected ballad a few weeks ago, 'ABISSALE' as a single. It is surprising because, as I said in my previous post about the Italian artist , he usually includes some humor in his songs and in his videos, but in Abissale there is not a trace. The single comes after releasing 'Pasta' and reigning on the Italian chart throughout the summer with Fedez and Mara Sattei on 'Dolce Vita'. Abissale is an honest, heartfelt piece reminiscent of 2000s Italian balladry and Italian cantautori genre, tapping into Tananai's gruff voice. In it, he talks about how special the girl he is in love with is and how he has tried to be special to be by her side, but he has not succeeded.
