DUA LIPA RELEASES POST-FUTURE NOSTALGIA TRACK, 'FEVER' ft. ANGELE

 After the third remix of Levitating, Dua Lipa is ready to release new material and her new track features the belgian singer Angèle, who celebrated last month the second anniversary of her debut album 'Brol'. 'Fever' blends dance music, habitual in Dua's latest record with Angèle 's melancholic bridge and second verse,patent in some of her tracks like' Jalousie' or' Je veux tes yeux'. The song talks about the fever , emotional dependence to someone.



To promote the single, both artists told Konbini how they knew each other and how their collaboration came up.

       

The video, shot in  London, is set to be released on Friday. The track maybe features on Dua's online live show, Studio 2054.

RKOMI GOES ALT-ROCK WITH HIS SINGLE 'PARTIRE DA TE'.

 Italian rapper Rkomi dropped his third studio album, Taxi Driver , in April. Inspired by the Martin Scorsese film, the album is certified double platinum in Italy and Rkomi has reached  number one in the singles chart, with 'NUOVO RANGE' (ft Sfera Ebbasta). The album includes fourteen tracks and ten of them are featurings. Rkomi recruits a great line-up of Italian pop, from his frequent collaborator Ernia to Irama and Italy's King of trap, Sfera Ebbasta. Today I am going to focus on one track that isn't a feature, 'PARTIRE DA TE'. It probably is the piece with the biggest rock sound on the record. Since the beginning, the alt -rock electric guitar riff captivates you, which is emphasized by the piano that makes you immerse in the song and the rhythm. FRANK OCEAN, CHANNEL ORANGE REVIEW

I had been hearing a lot of time about Frank Ocean but never really got into his music. During the quarantine, I had the opportunity to discover and explore his two studio albums, Channel Orange and Blonde.   Channel Orange is a brilliant debut album. The first track ont the album, Start , contains ordinary life's sounds (laughs and chat notifications sounds) but then, a TV is turned on (as in  the End track, it is turned off) ,as the beggining of something and 90s videogames sounds appear, like Frank's childhood memories.  The second track, Thinkin Bout You, turns into a love and vulnerable ballad (most in the falsetto parts) , with Ocean talking (probably) about his first love. TEO PLANELL- ME VAS A MATAR.

 Esta semana Teo Planell ha presentado el primer single de su esperado primer disco, Me vas a matar. Con un aire más oscuro que Allá donde quiera que estés , Me vas a matar  continúa con sus habituales letras poéticas y tono íntimo, y explora una historia de amor que parece acabada, pero sobre la que el artista reflexiona y piensa en alto.  En Me vas a matar las guitarras se funden con los sintetizadores, que llegan a recordar a  Somebody Else  de The 1975 (minuto 0:50).  El sencillo viene acompañado de vídeo inspirado por el documental de Taika Waititi, Lo que hacemos en las sombras (2014).
